CEO and Founder, Cassandra
Cassandra is a highly accomplished professional with a rich and diverse background in cybersecurity, military leadership, and education. With 19 years of dedicated military service and academic teaching experience, she brings her vast expertise to the forefront of cybersecurity and information technology. She started her IT career as an enlisted Airman in the Air Force, held various IT positions with DoD Contractors, and is currently serving in the Navy as a naval officer.
Her roles mark Cassandra's military career as Department Head for the Navy and Battle Watch Captain, where she has led critical operations and coordinated complex missions across various domains. She has experience with naval ship communications and systems, setting up IT work centers from the ground up. Her leadership has been instrumental in enhancing mission success and operational readiness. She has also played a significant role in redesigning the Information Professional Officer Basic Course while integrating her academic insights to improve Navy training and university-level undergraduate courses and programs.
Cassandra is recognized as a leading expert in cybersecurity. She holds multiple IT certifications, demonstrating her deep technical knowledge and commitment to staying at the cutting edge of the industry.
Her certifications reflect her mastery of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and network defense. Beyond her technical expertise, Cassandra has made significant contributions as an author, writing and publishing IT articles for reputable outlets such as Navy CHIPS and EC-Council. With a wealth of international experience, Cassandra has collaborated with over 35 foreign nationals, demonstrating her ability to work effectively in diverse teams while traveling worldwide. Her involvement in joint exercises and training programs, where she provided cybersecurity and IT training to various military forces, underscores her exceptional leadership and cross-cultural communication skills.
Academically, Cassandra is a powerhouse. She holds five master's degrees across disciplines from the University of Alabama, Liberty, Central Michigan, and Regent University, including cybersecurity, information technology, and instructional technology in education. She is pursuing her PhD in Education, where her academic pursuits have fueled her professional development and enriched her teaching and mentoring of others. She emphasizes the importance of cybersecurity, leadership, and professional growth to her college students and fellow service members.
Cassandra is also a proud woman-owned and minority business owner, further highlighting her dedication to breaking barriers and leading by example in the business world.
